Grilling Tips



Fresh grilled shrimp is a family favorite.  When the Shrimp are Grilling....the Family and Friends are Grinning :)

Cayenne pepper gives the shrimp the spicy flavor you want from a true Cajun Shrimp dish.   If you don't have the ingredients below, just get some Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning and replace all your pepper ingredients below with 2 or 3 tsp of it.

1 lb peeled and de-veined fresh shrimp
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp fresh ground black pepper
1 tsp white pepper
1 tsp salt
1 tsp honey
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil


Put Shrimp to the side and mix up all the other ingredients together. Mix very well then add shrimp. Cover and marinade in the fridge for at least 30 minutes (THE LONGER THE BETTER).

Preheat Grill with lid closed for at least 15 minutes. Place shrimp on the grill and close lid. Grill shrimp for about 3-5 minutes. They will be an opaque color when done.
